AromaEase™ is a proprietary essential oil blend formulated by D. Gary Young with the clean, nurturing aromas of:

Flex Oils

Citrus Fresh™

A Flex Oil in the Premium Starter Kit, Citrus Fresh™ creates a clean, fresh scent for any environment when diffused. This proprietary and refreshing blend combines:

• Orange  (Citrus aurantium dulcis)
• Tangerine (Citrus reticulata)
• Grapefruit (Citrus paradisi)
• Lemon (Citrus limon)
• Mandarin (Citrus nobilis)
• Spearmint (Mentha spicata)

Citrus Fresh includes the naturally occurring constituents limonene, beta-pinene, and linalol. Wear it topically for a beautiful and fragrant perfume or cologne to refresh and inspire. Apply topically to help beautify and maintain the appearance of a healthy skin tone.

4. Laundry:  Add a few drops to the wash cycle to freshen a stinky washing machine.  Add to a wool dryer balls for a wonderfully refreshing smell.  Try it on the towels!

Thieves® Vitality Essential Oil

 

THIEVES® Vitality 

OH how I love me some Thieves® oil.  This oil packs quite the punch and it smells like a slice of spiced heaven.   Thieves® is a blend of clove, lemon cinnamon, eucalyptus radiata, and rosemary – seriously – purifying the air never smelled quite so good.

There is a sordid back story behind the name of Thieves® essential oil blend.  Legend says that during the 15th century 4 thieves were captured and charged with robbing the dead and the dying during the Bubonic Plague.  When offered leniency in exchange for information about how they were able to rob graves and not contract the plague themselves, they spoke of a blend of aromatic herbs and spices they rubbed on themselves prior to their crimes.   And as such, the legend of Thieves® Essential Oil Blend was born.

How to use: For internal use. To use as a dietary supplement, add to food, water or other beverages. Can also place a few drops in a vegetable capsule and take internally to support overall wellness.

1. Flavor:  Add to food or beverages to enhance the flavor. Add a drop to hot drinks to add a spicy zing.(Clove, Lemon, Cinnamon, Rosemary)
2. Wellness: May contribute to overall wellness when taken as a dietary supplement.*

(A very different kind of liquid courage)

Valor® essential oil blend is a top seller and one of Young Living founder D. Gary Young’s favorite blends. Apply to wrists, chest, base of neck, and bottoms of feet or add to Young Living Bath & Shower Gel Base to feel empowered and uplifted. You may also apply at bedtime or diffuse, inhale, or add 2–4 drops to bath water to enjoy its calming aroma. Valor can be an important blend in Young Living’s signature Raindrop Technique®, and it is also a great addition to a full-body massage when 15–20 drops are added to V-6™ Vegetable Oil Complex.

Valor® is an empowering blend that promotes feelings of strength, courage, and protection. Valor is also believed to support energy alignment.  It combines the soothing properties of Frankincense essential oil with the pleasant scents and soothing powers of Rosewood, Blue Tansy and Spruce essential oils.

Joy® is just what the name implies – joyful.  It is a bright, refreshing spring day.   It promotes emotional well being. It is sugar and spice and everything nice.

I will admit that Joy is not my favorite oil.  It is a bit too flowery for my personal taste but I have to admit it is damn hard to stay mad when this is diffusing in the room.   It just makes me want to put my arms out and spin like Julie Andrews in the Alps!  But just because it isn’t my favorite doesn’t mean I can’t appreciate the benefits if provides.  Here are just a few examples of how to use Joy essential oil blend:

1. Mood Enhancer: It’s pretty difficult to stay grumpy when this is diffusing through the house. It smells like you are standing in the middle of a fragrant flower garden!
2. Perfume: Many people wear it as perfume behind their ears and on the inside of their wrists
3. Emotional health: Rub a drop or 2 over the heart to promote emotional well being with this uplifting scent*
4. Massage: Combine with a carrier oil and ask your spouse or partner to give you a massage. I am not responsible for what happens next!
5. Freshen Clothes: Add a few drops to a clean towel and throw it in the dryer for fresh smelling clothes
6. Potpourri: Add a few drops to your favorite potpourri to give it a fresh scent
7. Air Freshener: Diffuse to make the house smell wonderfully fragrant.
8. Unwind: Add to YL Bath & Shower Gel Base to relax and calm as you unwind from a long day.
9. Car freshener: Add a drop to a cotton ball and place in your air vents

PURIFICATION®

Young Living’s Purification® blend is a clean and wonderful smelling essential oil that contains

• Citronella (Cymbopogon nardus)
• lemongrass (Cymbopogon flexuosus)
• rosemary (Rosmarinus officinalis)
• Tea Tree Oil (Melaleuca alternifolia)
• lavandin (Lavandula x hybrida) and
• myrtle (Myrtus communis).

I love love love to diffuse this because not only does it rid the room of odor, it just smells wonderful without being too heavy and flowery.

I live in an apartment and smells easily take on a life of their own.  Every time I cook the smells linger for days.  But when I diffuse Purification®, within an hour the room smells fresh and clean and you’d never know I spent the day slaving over a hot stove.   I do laundry on the weekends and this past weekend I opened up the washer to do a fresh load and found a very NOT fresh wet load sitting in the washer – where it had been since LAST weekend.  Yuck!  The clothes reeked of mold and mildew and I was dreading washing them over and over again to get rid of the smell.   But then I remembered I had oils!  I grabbed purification® and dropped a few drops in the wash and when the load was done I didn’t smell anything funky.  But I still ran it through one more time with more purification® just to sure.  blech!   Oh how I love these oils 🙂

How to use: For aromatic or topical use. Diffuse, inhale, or add to bath water. Apply to crown of head, back of neck, behind ears or inside wrists. Possible skin sensitivity.

1. Shoes: Add a couple of drops to a cotton ball and place in shoes to freshen and help neutralize odors

2. Dog: diffuse purification® to help get rid of wet dog odor

3. Washing: Add a couple of drops to the washing machine to freshen laundry

4. Catbox: Add distilled water to a spray bottle and spray routinely around catbox to help with odor.

5. Feet: Add to V-6™ Vegetable Oil Complex to complement a soothing and relaxing foot massage.

6. Clean: apply 1-2 drops and scrub to clean.

7. Cooking: can’t get rid of the fish smell in your house? Diffuse Purification®

8. Support skin Health: Apply topically to improve the appearance of tender skin*

9. Travel: Add to distilled water in a small spray bottle and use when traveling to freshen the air. Or, put a few drops on a cotton ball and put in the air vents.

10. Outdoors: Apply topically to enjoy the outdoors annoyance free without using harsh chemicals.*

PanAway® Essential Oil

 

PANAWAY®

PanAway® was created by Gary Young […]. Containing wintergreen essential oil, which is often used for massage, PanAway is soothing to the skin while providing comforting warmth to muscles after exercise.

PanAway®, formulated by D. Gary Young, is a popular, original combination of:

• Wintergreen (Gaultheria procumbens),
• Helichrysum (Helichrysum italicum),
• Clove (Syzygium aromaticum) and
• Peppermint (Mentha piperita)

This blend is ideal to apply topically after exercise, and supports the appearance of healthy skin coloration. The essential oils in PanAway include naturally occurring constituents methyl salicylate, gamma-curcumene, menthol, and eugenol.

Many people dilute Panaway® as it is very strong, but I usually apply it neat. If you prefer to dilute, use a 50:50 solution of carrier oil and Panaway®. Please note that Panaway® is NOT recommended for children under 18 months and diluting essential oil is generally recommended for children in general.

Ultimately you are responsible for the well being of your child.  Please do your research carefully and consult a physician before using any essential oil on your children.

How to use: For topical use. Apply to skin or add to bath water. Apply to crown of head, back of neck, behind ears or inside wrists. Possible skin sensitivity.

1. Muscle support: to support healthy muscles after exercise, apply to neck, shoulders, feet, legs or anywhere!*
